Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use this website to seek help in an emergency. The Service is not designed for urgent or emergency medical needs and is not monitored in real time.

Information is not medical advice

The content on TEXPEPS’s website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for professional medical care. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified healthcare provider with any questions you have about a medical condition, medication, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.

No doctor-patient relationship through this site

Using this website does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and TEXPEPS. TEXPEPS operates a technology platform that connects patients with independent, licensed providers; it is not a medical practice and does not practice medicine. Any clinical relationship is between you and an independent provider licensed in your state, formed only on the clinical platform after you complete intake.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved

Treatments offered through providers and pharmacies in our network may include compounded medications. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Compounding is a lawful, regulated practice performed by U.S.-licensed pharmacies (503A) or FDA-registered outsourcing facilities (503B) operating under recognized quality standards, but a compounded product should not be assumed to be the same as, or equivalent to, any brand-name FDA-approved drug.

Individual results vary

Health outcomes depend on many individual factors. Any references to potential benefits are general and educational. Individual results vary, and no specific result, outcome, or weight change is promised or guaranteed. Testimonials or examples, where shown, reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will have the same experience.

Provider supervision matters

Any treatment should be undertaken only under the supervision of a licensed provider who has reviewed your information and determined it appropriate for you. A licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate, and a prescription is never guaranteed. Follow your provider’s instructions, attend recommended follow-ups, and report side effects or concerns promptly.

Drug interactions and contraindications

Medications can interact with other drugs, supplements, foods, and existing health conditions, and some treatments are not safe for certain people (for example, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with particular medical histories). Provide your provider with a complete and accurate health history, including all medications and supplements you take. Do not start, stop, or change a medication without professional guidance.

Availability varies by state

The treatments and services described here are not available everywhere. Availability varies by state, and eligibility and access depend on your state of residence and applicable law. Information on this site may not apply to your location.
